“Integrated approach to the problem of pneumonia in children, rehabilitation”

On May 04, 2023, the summer school “Integrated approach to the problem of pneumonia in children, rehabilitation” in offline + online format continued its work at the Department of Pediatrics and Medical Rehabilitation named after D.M. Tusupova.

Students of the school: resident neonatologists, resident pediatricians, resident pulmonologists, resident neonatologists of the 1st and 2nd years of study, undergoing training in Semey, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Pavlodar.

A real contribution to the implementation of the agenda of this day was made by resident pediatricians Manarbekova M.M., Alimbekova A.M., Sadykova T.M., Sautbayeva M.M., Motey A.A.; resident pulmonologists Arkabek Zh.S., Sagandykova S.K., Eshova D.A., Kizikeeva N.N., Asanova S. A., Musaeva M.

7 informative, well-illustrated presentations are presented to the students of the school: “Pneumonia in children: the current state of the issue”, “Features of the course of bacterial pneumonia in children”, “Features of the course of viral pneumonia in children”, “Features of the course of fungal pneumonia in children”, “Pneumonia in children against anemia”, “Pneumonia in children children on the background of rickets”, “Pulmonary eosinophilia in children”. The issues of diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment of pneumonia in young and older children, the features of the course of the disease depending on the etiological factor, background pathology, a rare form of pneumonia are analyzed in detail. The resident pediatrician of the 1st year of study, M.M. Sautbayeva, reported the results of her own research activities carried out at the UH “SMU” NCJSC to study the frequency of occurrence, the structure of pneumonia in children for 2022-2023. The listeners were particularly interested in the reported clinical cases of patients with destructive pneumonia, pneumonia of fungal etiology, eosinophilic pneumonia, pneumonia on the background of anemia. X-ray and CT scans were demonstrated. The participants of the school actively asked questions, discussed with the teachers the questions that arose, shared their practical experience.

This day demonstrated that the problems of pneumonia in children are relevant for doctors of different specialties. The feedback received from the students of the school showed its importance and the need for such events to be held annually.

The next day of the school will be dedicated to the rehabilitation of children with pneumonia.[/vc_column_text]
