The IX International Educational and Methodological Conference “Medical education: the choice of the generation of the XXI century” was held in Kazan (Tatarstan).

The opening of the conference began with a welcoming speech by the Rector of Kazan State Medical University, corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, Professor Alexey S. Sozinov.

On the first day of the 3-day conference with the report “Introduction of continuous integrated medical education in Kazakhstan. The experience of the Semey Medical University” was made by the Chairman of the Board – Rector of the SMU, NCJSC Altay A. Dyussupov.

The second day of the conference was also busy. A. A. Dyussupov, as part of the delegation, visited the Republican clinical hospital, took part in the round table “New models of training specialists for high-tech medicine” on the basis of the Interregional Clinical Diagnostic Center.

On the final day of the conference, an agreement was signed on the establishment of an international scientific and educational consortium (Kazan State Medical University, Northwestern State Medical University, Karaganda Medical University, Semey Medical University).

The conference participants also met with the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov.[/vc_column_text]
