The donors of the main part of the collection are the Nevzorov family, after whom the museum is named. In general, the Nevzorov family donated 569 works of art to the museum, including 177 paintings. The museum has paintings and engravings by Dutch, English, French, Russian masters of the 17th – 19th centuries and collections of domestic artists.
Visiting exhibitions contributes to the versatile development, expansion of horizons, spirituality, which is especially important for students.  First of all, it is getting rid of stereotypes.
