From May 30 to June 1, 2023, an external expert commission of the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating in a hybrid format is scheduled to visit Semey Medical University to assess the quality of the following educational programs:
- 7R01156 – Clinical laboratory diagnostics
- 6B10113 – Public health
- 7R01146 – Urology and andrology for adults, children
- 7R01123 – Pediatric surgery
Specialized accreditation is an assessment of the quality of individual educational programs implemented by an educational organization.
The members of the external expert commission will inspect the material and technical base of the university, visit clinical bases, as well as structural units. Interviews with students, employers, graduates and employees of the university are planned.
Accreditation of educational programs is necessary to obtain a state order for the training of students at all levels, as well as to identify ways to improve the university’s activities.
