“No one’s forgotten, nothing’s forgotten”

11 May 2023  At the Department of Propaedeutics of Children’s Diseases, as part of educational work in the 2326 group of the Pediatric speciality, a round table was held on the topic “Youth scorched by war…” dedicated to the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War under the guidance of assistant Shakirova A.A.

Students have prepared articles about real heroes who went through the war, including Aliya Moldagulova, Manshuk Mametova, Valya Kotik and others. Young people told about the difficulties experienced by these people in their youth, about their exploits and sacrifices, for example, about how they fought on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War, were captured, became members of partisan detachments, etc.

The discussion at the round table was deep and informative. Students discussed the lives of the heroines, analyzed their actions and judgments, expressed their thoughts, asked questions. It was also important that they were able to connect the story with the lessons of medicine, especially in terms of the psychological consequences of various combat situations that can affect people’s health.

As a result, young people received deep and useful knowledge about the sacrifice and courage of female heroes who were not afraid to become the personification of hope, support and courage for millions of people across the country.

The purpose of the round table: the formation of patriotic feelings and consciousness of young people, pride in the historical past, the development of high social activity, civic responsibility, the ability to prove themselves in strengthening the state. Manifestation of creative inclinations, abilities and skills of social design among young people based on work with materials on the history of the Great Patriotic War.
