May 27th, 2023 – The Department of General Educational Disciplines at Semey Medical University organized a thrilling English debate tournament among its students, igniting intellectual discourse and showcasing their exceptional abilities. The event witnessed captivating debates on a wide range of topics, including medicine, artificial intelligence, human rights, and social media, leaving the audience spellbound.

The tournament served as a platform for participants to enhance their public speaking skills and critical thinking abilities. Even first-time debaters showcased outstanding performances, impressing both judges and fellow students.

• First Place: “Innocent Boys” – Ritik Sharma, Kishan Patel.
• Second Place: “Dream Team” – Usama Bin Amin, Syed Nouman Ali Shah.
• Third Place: “Aurora” – Yeskendir Saduakasov, Ihsan Muhammad.
• Third Place: “Abai Tacticians” – Muhammad Maaz, Ameer Ali.

Additionally, Usama Bin Amin was awarded the coveted title of Best Speaker, recognizing his exceptional oratory skills and persuasive arguments.
