In 2023, on May 30, in order to improve the effectiveness of preventive measures for tick-borne infections in the epidemic season of 2023, a seminar on the prevention of tick-borne encephalitis and tick-borne typhus was held in Semey PST No. 6. The organizers of the seminar reminded that on the territory of the East Kazakhstan region, bordering our region, the natural foci of tick-borne encephalitis are Glubokovsky, Zaisansky, Zyryanovsky, Katon-Karagaysky, Kokpektinsky (Samara region), Ulansky, Shemonaikhinsky districts, the surroundings of the cities of Ridder and Ust-Kamenogorsk. Epidemiology, clinic, diagnostics of tick-borne encephalitis and tick-borne typhus were presented to the participants of the seminar, the issues of specific and non-specific prevention of tick-borne encephalitis were discussed separately.
