On the eve of the 70th anniversary of our university on 05.06.2023, on the basis of the Ust-Kamenogorsk branch of the SMU, NCJSC , the assistants of the Department of GMP Sh.D. Yensibayeva and M.S. Aldiyarkhanova organized a meeting of interns of the 6-7 course in the specialty “GMP” with famous doctors of the East Kazakhstan region: T.A. Mukazhanov and Z.K. Sultanbekov.
Both specialists are graduates of the Semipalatinsk State Medical Institute. Each of them has contributed to the development and formation of medicine in our region.
Mukazhanov T.A. – Candidate of Medical Sciences, oncologist of the highest category, excellent healthcare worker, more than 50 years in medical practice, has trained a large number of highly specialized doctors. He made a huge contribution to the development of the oncology service of East Kazakhstan region.
Sultanbekov Z.K.-Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the International Academy of Human Ecology and Security (IAELPS, Russia). Author of more than 200 scientific papers, 5 monographs, 20 manuals, 16 recommendation inventions. Under his leadership, 10 PhD theses were defended. To this day, he continues to work as a professional pathologist and an otolaryngologist.
Both specialists have been repeatedly awarded state awards.
The meeting was very interesting, the doctors shared their history of the path to success, exchanged opinions, answered students’ questions. The meeting ended with parting words for the interns.
