According to the plan of Saturday events in the Student Houses of the SMU, NCJCS on 06/06/2023, a round table was held on the prevention of acute intestinal infections in the student house No. 2 of the SMU, NCJCS. Students were provided with information on epidemiology, clinic, diagnosis, treatment of acute intestinal infections. Separately, during the round table, issues of prevention of acute intestinal infections, which are key in the non-proliferation of these infectious diseases, were discussed.
In particular, it was noted that it is necessary to pay attention to the expiration dates of products, wash fruits and vegetables, do not buy cut watermelons and melons, observe personal hygiene rules, first of all, keep hands clean, buy products only in places allowed for trade, swim on official beaches, thoroughly fry and boil food, especially meat, poultry, eggs, fish and seafood, use different cutting boards for raw and finished products, observe food storage conditions: perishable foods should be stored only in the refrigerator at a temperature of 2-6 degrees, raw foods and cooked foods should be stored separately, use only clean packaging material, do not accumulate garbage and food waste, keep out flies, rodents and other insects. At the end of the round table on the prevention of acute intestinal infections, the guys thanked everyone for their active participation and wished each other to always follow the motto “Cleanliness is the key to health!”
