On May 18, 2023, on the basis of the children’s infectious diseases department of the regional center of phthisiopulmonology and infectious diseases, an integrated interdisciplinary Olympiad “Infectious diseases in children and childhood diseases” was held among 4th-year students of the specialty “General Medicine”.

The organizers of this event: employees of the Department of Propaedeutics of Children’s Diseases and the Department of Children’s Infectious Diseases. The Olympiad was held in three languages and consisted of four stages: greeting, case solution, putting on and taking off personal protective equipment (PPE), captains competition.

The head of the Department of Children’s Infectious Diseases Efendiev I.M. and head of the department of Рropaedeutics of children’s diseases Toktabayeva B.Zh.

According to the results of the Olympiad, the Immunity team (group 4102) took the 1st place, the Vita team (group 4109) took the 2nd place; 3rd place – the teams “Fluorochrome” (group 4101) and “Cranial nerves” (group 434 of foreign students).

The winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad were awarded diplomas, certificates of participants and memorable prizes.
