On May 12, 2023, on the basis of the University Hospital of the NAO “MUS”, at the Department of Hospital Surgery, Anesthesiology and Resuscitation , a meeting was held for 7th-year internswishing to enroll B in residency in the specialty “General Surgery”.

The head of the department Aimagambetov M.Zh .

presented a presentation to the audience, where he introduced the interns to the staff of the department, the history of the department, its achievements, equipment, clinical bases, the work of residents in the department. He particularly noted the

medical work of the staff of the department, which consists of: conducting a morning medical conference, consultations, visiting patients, working in dressing rooms, working in the operating unit as an operating surgeon and assistant, curating patients and conducting consultations in different

departments of the university hospital. At the moment, we are training residents of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year in the specialty “General Surgery”, which is designed for 3 years. They are on routine and emergency duty, independently perform operations under the supervision of an experienced surgeon-mentor. Together with the staff of the department, they conduct scientific work. Over the past three years, more than 20 articles and abstracts have been published jointly with residents. They are co -authors of the copyright и certificate of intellectual property patents.
