At Semey Medical University from 22.05.2023. – 29.05.2023. teachers of biophysics Kussainova K.T. and Masalimova A.N. of the Department of Physiological Disciplines named after A.N. Nazarova, Honored Scientist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a summer school was organized on the topic “The role of biophysics in the development of nuclear medicine”. The purpose of organizing this school is to consider various aspects of nuclear medicine, modern achievements in nuclear physics. The use of nuclear medicine significantly reduces mortality from cancer and other diseases, both through new therapeutic methods and through early diagnosis.Students, working on the topic, collected information about current problems and promising areas, about the current situations of nuclear medicine in Kazakhstan, prepared a presentation and presented it to the school participants.
