An evening meeting of graduates who graduated from the educational institution in 1973 was held at the SMU, NCJSC. It is noteworthy that the alumni meetings have become a good tradition, but the 50-year-old graduation meeting is taking place for the first time.

The Chairman of the Board – Rector Altai A. Dyusupov addressed the senior mentors with a welcoming speech and presented the graduates with badges “Kurmetti tulek” (“Honorary Graduate”), “Semey Medicina universitetine sinirgen enbegi ushin” (“For contribution to the development of SMU”). The guests were presented with books about the history of the university for 60 years.
