The culmination of the successful completion of the undergraduate educational program 5B130100 “General Medicine” was the awarding of diplomas to 213 graduates of the foreign department of NCJSC “Semey Medical University”, which took place on July 3, 2023. Representatives of the administration of NCJSC “SMU”, faculty, “Tecas India” company, parents, junior students attended this event to share a joyful moment with the graduates.

After the opening of the ceremony, the Chairman of the Board – Rector of NCJSC “SMU”, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Altay Akhmetkalievich Dyussupov made a congratulatory speech and personally presented a diploma to each graduate. Dean of School of working with foreign students, Master of Medical Sciences, Balashkevich N.A. also congratulated students. Appreciation letters were presented to the guys, who showed themselves in the best way in their studies and social activities during the period of study at the Semey Medical University. Shakhanova A.T., PhD,  acting associate professor of the Department of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, a coordinator of the 5th year, delivered a congratulatory speech from the teaching staff. Director of “Tecas India” company, PhD, MBA, Mr. Mir Muddasir Gowhar also congratulated the graduates on their significant achievement and wished them further success. At the end of the ceremony the Hippocratic oath was traditionally read, symbolizing a certain dedication of graduates into members of the medical community, memorable photos were taken.[/vc_column_text]
