On July 29, 2023, a military sports event dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the creation of the non-commercial joint stock company “Semey Medical University” was organized and held at the military department, among the students of 1-5 platoons.

The main objectives of the preparation and holding of this event were:

– increasing the responsibility of students for their profession;

– formation of motivation for a healthy lifestyle;

– development of physical endurance, strength, agility, military practical skills;

– development of team spirit and the ability to work harmoniously in a single team.

The staff of officers and students gathered at 9 am on the parade ground of the department, where the plan of the event was announced.

Competitions were held in football, cross–country for 2 km, for boys – pulling up on the crossbar and for girls – lifting the trunk from the prone position. The best results were achieved by the students of the boys of 2nd platoon and the students of the girls of 3rd platoon, the student of the 2nd platoon Altayev N.A. – 1st place was taken “by pulling up on the crossbar”, the student of the 3rd platoon Mamyrbek A.A. – 1st place “by lifting the trunk from the prone position”.

At the end of the competition, the winners were awarded with diplomas.

The students expressed their gratitude to the teacher, Lieutenant Colonel of the reserve medical Service N.Smailov and senior lecturer, Deputy head of the military Department, Colonel of the reserve R.Mamykanov for organizing the event.
