At the Department of pPropaedeutics of children’s diseases from 27.08.23. until 02.09.23 passed a cycle of seminars “Medical genetics in clinical portraits. Molecular basis of diagnostics and the choice of drugs for the treatment of hereditary diseases”, which was held by Larionova Valentina Ilyinichna, MD, Professor of the Department of Medical Genetics of the North-Western State Medical University named after I.I. Mechnikov, President of the Association of Specialists in the field of molecular medicine, medical and laboratory genetics named after E.I. Schwartz (St. Petersburg, Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation).
The scientific content of the seminars held is becoming more and more in demand among doctors of all specialties, medical genetics, and even more so, molecular medicine is the avant-garde direction of medical knowledge, behind it is the future of all medicine.
The highest level of seminars caused a resonance in the university. It was visited daily by teachers from other departments (Molecular Biology and Medical Genetics, Pediatrics and Medical Rehabilitation, Pharmacology, Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, Biochemistry, Physiology, etc.), practical health doctors from Semey and the Abay region, Ust-Kamenogorsk, representatives of LLP “Medservice-plus”, doctoral students, residents, students.
Professor Larionova V.I. – a world-famous scientist, an enthusiast in his field, a great master of presenting new material for the audience, opened to the audience the modern world of achievements in medical genetics and molecular medicine, it is on this knowledge that the diagnosis of rare orphan diseases is based.
It should be noted the very good organization of this event by the Department of Propaedeutics of Children’s Diseases (Head of the Department Toktabayeva B.Zh.), which ensured clarity in work, a pleasant working atmosphere, the possibility of participation of many specialists of various profiles.
