JSC «Astana Medical University» with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a republican conference on the topic «Shakarim’s Legacy – a Precious Treasure of the Nation» dedicated to the 165th anniversary of Shakarim Kudaiberdiuly, one of the great figures of Kazakh literature.

Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs on behalf of the university management Aigul Bitimbaevna Zhunusova opened the conference. Representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Department of Language Development of the city of Astana, and the teaching staff of the university took part in the conference.

Associate Professor of the Department of General Educational Subjects of Semey Medical University, Ph.D. Zhorokpayeva M.D. read a report on the topic «Problems of morality in the poems of Shakarim»

During the conference, participants expressed thoughts about improving education, spiritual and moral values and other topical issues regarding language and education raised in the works of Sh. Kudaiberdiuly.
