Choosing a profession is a multifaceted and complex question; you cannot answer in one minute who you want to become. The combination of many factors should determine the future profession, namely: the desire to develop in a given profession, the availability of educational institutions that can provide the knowledge and skills necessary for the chosen profession, an understanding of the essence of the profession and the relationship between one’s personal and professional qualities. In any case, no matter what profession a student chooses, the most important thing is that he likes what he does.

And as a part of career guidance work, on September 29, 2023, the Department of Biochemistry and Chemical Disciplines named after Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor S. O. Tapbergenov visited secondary school No. 44 in Semey. The meeting was organized by D. D. Murtazina, responsible for career guidance work of the department. The students were presented with an image video of Semey Medical University NJSC. A conversation was held about educational programs, conditions for admission and study at the university. As a result of the conversation, four 11th grade students expressed a desire to enroll in NCJSC “SMU”.
