The International Day of the Elderly has been celebrated in our republic since October 1, 1991. This holiday is an excellent occasion to pay tribute to and honor old age, to remember the merits of the older generation and to express gratitude for their wisdom, experience, moral qualities. There are more than 2 million citizens over the age of 60 in the republic. Students of the 2427 group of the specialty “General Medicine” organized congratulations to the representatives of the older generation in the form of a booklet with poems-wishes (the students’ own composition of the group) and a small box with sweets.
