On October 03.2023 the event “Visiting the monuments of great writers, poets of the Republic of Kazakhstan” was held with students of the group 5108 of  GM. Organizer: Assistant of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology Almagambetova A.A.

The assistant of the department, curator Almagambetova A.A. made a welcoming speech to the students of the curatorial group 5108 of the Semey Medical University. In her speech she highlighted that the purpose of the meeting was to familiarize students with the life and work of great writers, poets.

Abai Kunanbayev is a Kazakh poet, composer, educator, thinker, public figure, the founder of a new wave of Kazakh written literature and its first classic, a cultural reformer in the spirit of rapprochement with European culture based on enlightened Islam. Abai Kunanbayev had a great influence on the emerging Kazakh national intelligentsia of the late XIX − early XX centuries. Abai Kunanbayev’s contribution to science and culture is invaluable. On the monument, Abai is depicted with his sons Akylbay and Turagul. Abai and his wise sons Akylbai and Turagul who continued his words and deeds are personalities who serve as an example for the country. The monument symbolizes the continuity of generations, mutual respect of father and children. Education should become one of the main factors shaping the high qualities of the nation.

Shakarim Kudaiberdiyev is a talented Kazakh poet, writer, translator, composer, historian. Engaged in politics was elected to the volost rulers. His translation of Hafiz into Kazakh remains unsurpassed in skill and technique.

After visiting the monuments, everyone can get acquainted with interesting facts, see the exhibits, cultural and historical monuments with their own eyes and thus instill a love for the work of the great poet. The students were spiritually enriched and were very pleased with visiting the monuments, expanded their knowledge with the life and work of great writers, poets of the Republic of Kazakhstan.[/vc_column_text]
