DEAR MASTER STUDENTS AND
FACULTY STAFF of “NURSING” SPECIALTY
Within the framework of the Erasmus+ international credit mobility program for the 2023-2024 academic year, a competition is announced among master students and teaching staff in “Nursing” specialty for studying/training at the University of Malaga, Spain.
Studying/Training period:
Master’s students: spring semester 2024 (from 3 to 5 months).
Teaching staff: 5 days of training, 2 days of travel in the spring semester 2024.
The selection process of candidates is carried out in two stages:
STAGE 1: successful completion of the competitive selection and nomination of a candidate from NJSC “SMU”, submission of an online application to the University of Malaga.
STAGE 2: UMA will send to the selected participants an email to confirm the acceptance with instructions on how to proceed to organize their mobility at University of Malaga.
– A nomination from NJSC “SMU” does not imply the granting of a grants; UMA will send to the selected participants an email to confirm the acceptance with instructions.
Expenses covered by the grant within the allocated budget of the Erasmus + ICM program:
-travel expenses,
-visa support,
-accommodation expenses,
Please note!
Selected participants will need to advance their own funds when organizing their stay, such as visa, insurance, flights and accommodation, since the mobility grant will be paid only once their stay begins.
Requirements and documents of a master’s student necessary to participate in the competition at NJSC “SMU”:
- Master’s students of 1 year of study;
- No academic debt;
- Absence of disciplinary sanctions;
- Transcript of a bachelor’s degree with a GPA level of at least 3.0 (out of 4.0) in 2 two languages (Russian/Kazakh and English, issued by 127 room);
- High level of English proficiency – IELTS Certificate 6 and above (if available), or confirmation of level B2 in English through an interview;
- Abstract of the master’s thesis (Topic, subject of research, goals, objectives, novelty, etc.);
- Availability of diplomas, letters of gratitude and certificates received for prizes in events at the republican and international level (preferable);
- Oral interview;
- Application for participation with copies of all the above listed documents.
Requirements and documents of teaching staff necessary to participate in the competition at NJSC “SMU”:
- Work experience at NJSC “SMU” for at least one year;
- Absence of disciplinary sanctions;
- CV in Russian and English (if available, you can include information on
− list of articles published in scientific publications included in the list of journals recommended by the Committee for quality assurance in the field of education and science of Kazakhstan for the last year;
− list of scientific Articles for the last 3 years included in the Web of Science, Scopus, Springer databases;
− Hirsch index;
− Published monographs/methodological recommendations/textbooks
- Certificate of employment;
- Oral interview.
Acceptance of documents for participation in the competition is accepted in the 306 office of the main building until 17.10.2023 16:00
Participants must personally submit all documents in the paper version.
