On September 27, 2023, the Department of Dental Disciplines and ChLH organized an educational hour for students of 1,2,3 courses of the specialty “Dentistry” on the topic: “Prevention of drug offenses and elimination of the use of synthetic drugs among young people”, “Prevention of delinquency among young people” and “Prevention of AIDS”. The meeting was attended by the operative representative of the Abai regional Department for Combating Drug Crime, Lieutenant Colonel of the police, Gauhar Serikovna Espayeva, senior prosecutor of the Department for Supervision of the Legality of Operational Investigative Activities and Covert Investigative Actions of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Abai region Smailov Aidos Serikovich, head of the department of the Center for Prevention and Control of AIDS in Semey Mamyrbekova Nailya Rymbekovna.
The main purpose of the meeting is to prevent drug addiction and explain to young people about the dangers of drugs. The students received answers to their questions. At the end of the event, the head of the department Suleimeneva Dana Mukashevna conducted educational work with students of 1,2,3 courses of the specialty Dentistry on the rules of behavior in public places, university, in the classroom, improving academic performance, expressed gratitude to the guests and wished success in hard professional work.[/vc_column_text]
