Participants: 3,5 year students of OM 3511, 5102,5108 groups, residents of 1,2 years of study.

Dependence on psychoactive substances (PAS) is now a problem in modern society, especially among the younger generation. Prevention of addiction to psychoactive substances (PАS) is one of the most important tasks. Therefore, our university annually takes an active part in this event, conducting prevention among medical students.

The following speeches were made to the 3,5 year OM students, 1,2 year residents of Semey Medical University: Head of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology Doctor Phd Moldagaliev T.M., Department Assistant Almagambetova A.A. In their speeches they highlighted the types of psychoactive drugs substances, main signs, causes, as well as consequences of use. Prevention of this disease is also extremely important and should be carried out on a regular basis. They noted that it is necessary to see your life from the outside, to realize what it has become like. The stronger the persistence and desire for recovery, the higher the chances of returning to normal life. Together with the support of friends and family, this gives a good prognosis for overcoming substance addiction.

At the end, psychotherapeutic training was conducted, the guys actively discussed the impact of narcotic substances on the human body and came to the conclusion that drug use ruins human health.
