04.10.2023 at 15:00 in the NAO Semey Medical University hosted a solemn festive evening dedicated to the Day of the Elderly. The regional event was attended by veteran doctors and teachers who have been contributing to the development of science and education in the field of medicine for many years. The Chairman of the Board of the Semey Medical University, Rector Altai Akhmetkaliuly Dyusupov, who was the first to speak in the evening, congratulated the gathered public, and the head of the Urankhayeva Health Department Gulmira Telmankyzy congratulated the representatives of the older generation on the holiday and thanked them for their efforts at our university.
Kind words were expressed by the organizer of the festive event, chairman of the Council of Veterans of Kutybayeva Medical University Sandugash Toleugalikyzy and the head of the Silver University project Zhananur Kambarkyzy.
Under the leadership of Zhananur Kambarkyzy, students of the 1315 curatorial group “Dentistry” took the oath and enrolled in the Silver University as volunteers and museum workers.
A concert program from the regional House of Friendship with the participation of the Aisha Bibi ensemble at the central event dedicated to the Day of the Elderly.
“A country with the elderly is a cherished country”, respect for the elderly, life experience and advice, education and upbringing are examples for today’s generation.
The elderly people gathered at the meeting saw each other, were happy as a child, and told their memories.
