Today, 10.13.23, under the leadership of assistants of the Department of Pediatrics and Physical Rehabilitation named after D.M. Tusupova Taiorazova G.B., Ailbaeva N.M., together with neonatologist residents of 2 years of study, an event was held for the Day against Suicide. The listeners were interns of group 605,610, as well as obstetrician-gynecologists residents with 1-2 years of training. World Suicide Prevention Day was initiated by the International Association for Suicide Prevention (IAPS), with the active support of the World Health Organization and under the patronage of the United Nations, and has been celebrated on September 10 since 2003.World Suicide Day aims to combat ignorance and silence about this problem. Thanks to the educational work of neonatology residents, listeners noted that suicide is not a problem of an individual, it is a problem of his environment, a manifestation of a “disease of society.” Each of us has the power to pay attention to a loved one who needs support. Let’s prevent suicide!
