On September 28, 2023, the first meeting of the scientific circle at the Department of Pediatrics and Medical Rehabilitation was held. Tusupova D.M. This year, those responsible for SSS were invited to hold meetings once a month with relevant topics for all specialties of the department.

The first meeting of this year was held by residents-rehabilitologists of the 1st and 2nd years of study. The topic of the meeting: “Accreditation in the field of conformity assessment”. There were teaching staff of the department, resident pediatricians and neonatologists. At the meeting, residents made presentations on the following topics: “Accreditation.Stages”, “Security codes”, “Cleaning in the medical facility.NPA” , “Rules of hand washing according to the standard”.

Last academic year, from May 22 to May 24, the clinical base of the DRC “Toktamys” successfully passed all stages of accreditation for compliance with the requirements of national quality standards in the health care system and received the I category of National accreditation 2023-2026. Along with the preparation for this accreditation, we, resident rehabilitologists, have gained a lot of experience that will be useful to us in our own future practice. And we felt that it was very important to share this experience with our colleagues in the format of SSS.

Accreditation is one of the components of the quality infrastructure. International practice shows that in many countries there is or is being created only one national accreditation body. This is an international requirement. Since accreditation is a guarantee of trust, its conduct should not be related to commercial interests or competition considerations. It should be considered as a technical service for society, designed to protect the interests of consumers in matters of safety and quality of products, processes and services.Therefore, every health care worker should know and act in accordance with all the standards and regulations of the state.[/vc_column_text]
