On October 20, 2023, the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology held a curatorial hour dedicated to the activities of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, strengthening social harmony and national identity.

In pursuance of the President’s instructions to the Committee of Higher and Postgraduate Education on the implementation of the principles “we are different, but equal” and “unity in diversity”, it was decided to take an active part in this event.

The assistant of the department Almagambetova A.A. made a welcoming speech to the students. In her speech, she talked about the goals and objectives, the creation and development of the structure of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan. She also noted the huge role in maintaining stability and progressive development of the Republic. The Assembly demonstrates to the whole world the success of the policy pursued by Kazakhstan in the field of interethnic relations. The educational report was supplemented with a presentation and videos.

In conclusion, the students actively discussed that all the necessary conditions have been created in our Republic for the development of culture, language, traditions of all ethnic groups of Kazakhstan. The students came to the conclusion that the activities of the Assembly contribute to the growth of the international authority of the Republic of Kazakhstan as a country that effectively solves issues of interethnic relations. Largely thanks to the work of the Assembly, a unique model of interethnic and interfaith harmony has been formed in our country, a special atmosphere of trust, solidarity and mutual understanding, when every citizen, regardless of ethnic or religious affiliation, possesses and enjoys the fullness of civil rights and freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution.
