The 28th October in 2023, as part of educational work, teacher of the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics Gulbarshyn Mukasheva with the curatorial group 2508 of the specialty “General Medicine” visited the State Historical-Cultural and Literary-Memorial Reserve – the Abay Museum.
This museum is a cultural institution where materials from the life and work of Abay Kunanbayev are collected.The museum was opened in the city of Semipalatinsk on October 16, 1940 and was timed to coincide with the 95th anniversary of the birth of the writer and poet.
The museum consists of seven exhibition halls. Archival documents, Abay’s autographs, photographs, rare books, periodicals from Abay’s time, works of fine art, ethnographic exhibits given by Abay in 1885, Abay’s personal belongings, works of the successors of Abay’s literary traditions, their translations into the languages of the world are on display.
For the students, the excursion was very informative and interesting. The students received a lot of interesting and useful information for themselves by visiting the museum dedicated to the Kazakh poet, philosopher and educator Abay Kunanbayev.[/vc_column_text]
