Republic Day is a national holiday of the Republic of Kazakhstan, celebrated in Kazakhstan annually on October 25. Republic Day is the main and only National holiday of Kazakhstan. On October 25, 1990, the Declaration on the State Sovereignty of Kazakhstan was adopted. The Declaration proclaimed the sovereignty of the Kazakh SSR and declared the political and legal foundations of Kazakhstan as an independent state. In honor of the Republic Day, an event was held on the discipline “Infectious Diseases”, prepared by the 5422 group of the Faculty of General Medicine. The festival was attended by curatorial and current groups of the Faculty of General Medicine. The students showed a video about the history of the holiday, performed concert numbers. Associate Professor of the department Nuralinova G.I. made a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of the holiday and wished success to the students.
