6.11. 2023 the Olympiad in biochemistry was held, based on the knowledge of the sections of the committee “Digestive and endocrine system” of students of the English department. Organizers of the Olympiad: Acting Head of the Department of Biochemistry and Chemical Disciplines named after Professor Tapbergenov S.O. Olzhayeva R.R., associate professor Dinzhumanova R.T., teacher Kabdigalieva A.E., students of group 2228  GM. Teams of 2505, 2506, 2507, 2508 groups of the foreign branch of GM took part in the Olympiad. Students demonstrated their knowledge in 4 rounds: 1. “Experts in the biochemical processes of digestion of substances.” 2. “The best experts in medical and biochemical terms.” 3. “Young endocrinologists.” 4. “Young gastroenterologists.” A fan competition was also held. At the beginning of the opening of the Olympiad, the dean of the school’s foreign department, N.A. Balashkevich, gave a welcoming speech. The Olympics took place in a friendly atmosphere. All participants of the Olympiad received diplomas and certificates, the winners of the “Grand Prix of the Olympiad” nomination and the Olympiad Cup, the organizers received letters of gratitude on behalf of the dean’s office and the Department of Biochemistry and Chemical Disciplines named after Professor S.O. Tapbergenov.  The students thanked the organizers of the Olympiad for a wonderful, exciting experience. Preparing for the Olympiad helps improve knowledge, encourages you to gain more knowledge and improve your skills in solving clinical cases. We thank everyone who contributed and helped in holding the Olympiad. Of course, many thanks and gratitude to the students of GM group 2228 for preparing the Olympiad and holding it together with our department.
