On November 8, 2023, a senior lecturer, Lieutenant colonel of the medical service of the reserve А.V.Matytsin, in group 4319, held a curatorial hour on the topic «Academic integrity and prevention of offenses among students» at the military department.

During the curatorial hour, the students’ attention was directed to the fact that the fundamental principle of the learning process in the Non-Profit Joint-Stock Company «Semey Medical University» is academic integrity.

Academic integrity in the educational process requires from students such qualities as integrity, mutual trust, transparency, feedback between students and teachers, respect for the rights, freedoms and equality of students, as well as knowledge of how to behave within the walls of the university, the basics of ethics, internal regulations in an educational institution.

Compliance with the rules of academic integrity and equal responsibility for their violation is the responsibility of every student.
