In 2023, on November 08, a seminar on measles prevention was held for medical workers at the central ambulance station of the Abay region. Students of group 5427 of the Faculty of General Medicine, who are currently studying the discipline “Infectious Diseases in Adults,” reported on the epidemiological situation of measles in Kazakhstan. The lecturers covered the issues of early detection of measles among the population, including pregnant women, effective triage with determination of the severity of the disease. We specifically focused on the prevention of measles and the importance of vaccination against this infection.
