From October 19 to November 03, 2023, the teaching staff of the Department of General Education Disciplines held an essay contest on the topic: “My profession is my conscious choice.” The competition was attended by 1st year students of all specialties of the NAO “Semey Medical University”.
106 essays were sent to the corporate mail of the department, 45 of them in Kazakh, 61 in Russian. According to the regulations of the essay contest, the commission determined the winners of the contest. On November 8, 2023, the winners of the competition were awarded.
According to the results of the decision of the organizing committee, the winners of the competition in Russian were determined:

1st place Kasymkhan Almat – student of 1215 group of  “General medicine”
2nd place Ainabekov Temirlan – student of 1302 group  “Dentistry”
2nd place Nurgazy Fatima – student 1318 group  “Dentistry”
3rd place Dauletkhan Alua – student of 1304 group of  “Dentistry”
3rd place Kasym Zhalgas – student 1215 group  “General medicine”
3rd place Arystanbek Arna – student 1217 group  “General medicine”

The winners of the essay competition received certificates in a formal ceremony, and the university congratulates them on their success and thanks all participants for their contributions.[/vc_column_text]
