November 14, 2023, at the Abay Theater, students of the School of Working with Foreign Students of Semey Medical University spent an evening dedicated to Diwali holiday.  Diwali is a national holiday in India, celebrated in late October – early November.  It is called the day of victory of good over evil, light over darkness.

Congratulating the students on this bright holiday, Chairman of the Board-Rector of NJSC “SMU” Altai Akhmetkalievich Dyusupov wished that the students’ future lives would be filled with warmth and kindness.

During the evening, the main rituals were performed, as well as theatrical performances telling about the content of the holiday.  In addition, students from India performed vocal and choreographis, including national Indian dances.[/vc_column_text]
