On 15 November 2023 at the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Medicine students group 4403 specialty “General Medicine” and the curator of the group (Zhazykbaeva L.K) was held curatorial hour on the theme of “Measles Prevention”. The importance of this event is primarily due to the outbreak of measles, which has recently covered Kazakhstan. During the curatorial hour students were initiated into all details of pathogenesis, epidemiology, clinical manifestations, treatment and prevention of this disease. Special attention was paid to the importance of measles vaccination and its periods. The students were also able to ask questions.
