On November 15-16, 2023, the Republican Olympiad among residents “Knowledge, Skills, Service” was held at the Center for Maternity and Childhood in Astana.
The goal of the Olympiad is to encourage and support young medical specialists studying in the field of cardiac surgery and cardiology, as well as to promote the development of their professional skills and knowledge. For the past 3 years, the Foundation has been financing the Yuri Pya Grant, which is issued for residency training on the basis of the NNCC. Among the participating teams were our residents from the Department of Therapy in the specialty of Adult and Pediatric Cardiology in two teams. The Olympiad program included four stages: Stage I: Medical quiz (20%), Stage II: Clinical case analysis (25%) – cases prepared by the organizer. Stage III: Presentation of a complex or rare clinical case (25%) – prepared by the team. Stage IV: Presentation of a creative project (30%).[/vc_column_text]
