On December 1, 2023 a senior lecturer, Lieutenant colonel of the reserve medical Service Matytsin A.V., in group 4421 of the Faculty of General Medicine, held a curatorial hour on this world problem at the military department.

The purpose of this event is to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS among the younger generation, to give maximum information about the problem of an infectious disease, about the ways of its transmission and most importantly about preventive measures.

AIDS has serious consequences for the health and lives of infected people, but through joint efforts awareness and support, we can stop spreading of this disease, as well as improve the lives of those who are already infected. The success of this struggle depends on every person, regardless of their social status.

Each of us can contribute to the fight against HIV infection.
