Excursion to the oncological dispensary: Learning the structure together with the curator

On November 29, on the eve of expanding knowledge and a deeper understanding of the processes in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, our student group 4224, led by the curator, assistant of the Department of “Obstetrics and Gynecology named after A.A. Kozbagarov” Gulbarshyn Myrzakhmetovna, went to an oncological dispensary.

The purpose of our visit was not only to gain theoretical knowledge, but also to get acquainted with the work of the institution, its structure and basic principles of functioning. We understood that this area of medicine is closely interrelated with obstetrics and gynecology, and knowledge of the characteristics of oncological diseases is important for our future practice.

Upon arrival at the oncology center, we were greeted by a team of professionals who are ready to share their experience and knowledge. We started with a tour of the various departments and laboratories. Doctors and specialists spoke in detail about the methods of diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with cancer.

Special attention was paid to the prevention and early diagnosis of cancer, which is also relevant in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. We learned about modern technologies used to detect the first signs of the disease, as well as about the features of psychological support for patients.

This visit not only expanded our knowledge, but also inspired us to take a more responsible and balanced approach to medical practice. We are grateful to the curator and the assistant of the department for the opportunity of such a unique experience, which will undoubtedly lay the foundation for our professional growth.
