On December 01, 2023, a round table was held with the employer on the topic: “Professional direction: A look into the future, organized by the Department of Public Health for students of 1-4 courses of the specialties “Public Health” and “Preventive Medicine”.

Almenov Aidar Tursyngazievich, Head of the Semey City Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of the Abai region of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, acted as a key speaker.

The students were provided with information about the main activities of the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control, about the opportunities that open up for graduates, measures of social support for young professionals; the procedure for entering the civil service was explained. Being a successful graduate of our university, Aidar Tursyngazievich told about his experience of success and career path, described various options for a professional career, they were given advice to students on choosing and career growth strategies.

During the event, students shared their opinions and asked questions of interest to them. After the Round table, the students expressed their gratitude for the valuable information and confidence in their choice of a professional path.
