Participation in the webinar “Anthrax – a recurring infection, causes and characteristics of the course”

In 2023, on December 13, employees of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Dermatovenerology and Immunology of the SMU, NCJSC, took part in the webinar “Anthrax – a recurring infection, causes and characteristics of the course,” organized by the AMU, NCJSC.
On the territory of Kazakhstan there are more than 2,500 inpatient and disadvantaged points. For 2018-2022 in 8 regions, 25 active soil foci of anthrax were registered: Zhambyl region – 7 foci, Turkestan region – 7 foci, Kostanay region – 3 foci, Shymkent – 3 foci, Abay region – 1 foci, Akmola region – 1 foci, Aktobe region region – 1 outbreak, East Kazakhstan region – 1 outbreak, North Kazakhstan region – 1 outbreak.
Speakers from Uzbekistan, Astana and Karaganda reported on their clinical cases of anthrax, shared their experience in the diagnosis and treatment tactics of this particularly dangerous infection. During the webinar, modern aspects of the treatment of various clinical forms of anthrax were discussed.
