Curated hour dedicated to the International Day fight against AIDS

World AIDS Day (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) is traditionally celebrated on December 1st. This is a very important and serious date for everyone who is actively fighting the deadly syndrome. Many government, public and medical organizations around the world conduct educational and diagnostic activities on this day. This work is aimed at ensuring that our future generation is aware and that the desire to LIVE is supported by a healthy lifestyle of this life, which we have ONE.

For the purpose of promoting and preventing AIDS, on December 4, 2023, at the Department of Biochemistry and Chemical Disciplines named after Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Tapbergenov S.O. under the leadership of the curator of the department Sydykova K.T. and students of group 208 of the specialty “Dentistry” held a curatorial hour on the topic: “Youth without HIV!” The purpose of this event is to educate and give the younger generation maximum information about the problem of an infectious disease, about the routes of its transmission and, most importantly, about measures to prevent it. The students prepared a presentation, showed a video and talked about a special badge – a red ribbon, without which not a single event dedicated to the fight against AIDS is complete.

World AIDS Day is a date that annually calls on the entire world community not only to remember this still incurable disease, but also to be tolerant of those who are already carriers of this disease. Everyone living on the planet should understand that prevention is very important in the fight for health.
