Interns of GP group 613 gave a lecture on measles

In 2023, on December 6, interns of GP group 613 currently studying at the Department of Infectious Diseases, Dermatovenereology and Immunology of the NAO MUS conducted sanitary and educational work on the prevention of measles in secondary school No. 3 in Semey.
The lecture on measles prevention was attended by students in grades 10-11 of secondary school No. 3. In their lecture, future doctors said that measles is a widespread acute infectious disease, occurring mainly in children and characterized by fever, inflammation of the mucous membranes of the nose, eyes and throat, and the appearance of a spotted rash on the skin. The lecturers noted that measles is one of the most contagious diseases known today and has an almost 100% susceptibility rate.
Schoolchildren were provided with information that if a person who has not previously had measles and has not been vaccinated comes into contact with a person with measles, the likelihood of getting sick is extremely high. This is why it is so important to strictly adhere to sanitary and hygienic rules and be sure to receive the measles vaccine.
