On 21-22 December 2023 the Rheumatology Olympiad was held among the students of the 4th year of the Faculty of General Medicine of the Foreign Department in a hybrid format (online, offline).

Jury members: associative professor of the Department of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology Goremykina M.V., resident in the speciality “Rheumatology” Serikova Talshyn Kairgalievna.

On 21 December 2023 at 14.00 the I round of the Olympiad was held. Students were sent test tasks to the chat rooms, which students had to fulfil exactly at the set time. According to the test results 5 students with the highest score were selected to pass to the next round of the Olympiad.

On the 22nd of December 2023 the face-to-face stage was held, including the solution of clinical problems, where students were offered cases on the knowledge of the basics of diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases and the game “Quiz”, in which participants demonstrated the ability to apply their knowledge in practice. All the guys coped well and showed a high level of preparedness in theoretical and practical issues.

According to the results of the Olympiad the students were awarded with diplomas for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd places, certificates of participation and gifts.
