In order to implement the activities carried out within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement concluded between the Ryazan State Medical University named after Academician I.P. Pavlov and Semey Medical University, academic mobility of teachers of Semey Medical University was organized from December 19 to 26 to conduct lectures and practical classes for clinical residents of the 1st year of the specialty “Infectious Diseases” Ryazan State Medical University in the discipline “HIV infection”.
The following teachers took part in the mobility: Khismetova Z.A. – Head of the Department of Public Health; Rakhimzhanova F.S. – Head of the Department of Microbiology named after Professor M. M. Urazalin; Maukayeva S.B. – Associate Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Dermatovenerology and Immunology; Akhmetova A.K. – Associate Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Dermatovenerology and Immunology; Pak L.A. – Head of the Department of Clinical Oncology and Nuclear Medicine named after Professor D. R. Musinov; Suleimeneva D.M. – Head of the Department of Dental Disciplines and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Lectures and classes were given for residents on the following topics: HIV infection in Kazakhstan and in the world. Prevention of HIV infection; Etiology and immunopathogenesis of HIV infection; Protocol for the diagnosis and treatment of HIV infection in Kazakhstan. Clinical case; Skin manifestations in HIV infection; Oncological manifestations in HIV infection; Manifestations of HIV infection in the oral cavity. The classes were held in an interactive mode and ended with testing.
