Prize-winning place in an international social advertising competition

On December 14, 2023, the results of the international social advertising competition “One World for All” 2023 were summed up, organized by the Regional Center for Inclusive Education of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Transbaikal State University” and the State Institution Center for Psychological, Pedagogical, Medical and Social Assistance “ДАР” of the Transbaikal Territory ( Chita, Russia).

The purpose of this competition is to attract the attention of the general public and foster a tolerant attitude towards the problems of people with disabilities.

The idea of social equality was conveyed through the creative self-expression of young people from Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Serbia, Mongolia. The competition participants presented their works in the following categories:

  1. layout of outdoor social advertising;
  2. social video.

NCJSC “Semey Medical University” (Semey, Kazakhstan) was presented by а 5th year student of the foreign department Anoosha Maqsood in the category “outdoor social advertising layout”, which took an honorable third place and received positive feedback on the work from the competition organizers. The deep meaning embedded in the images and phrases conveyed through the poster was noted.

The visual message of the prepared social advertising layout is that the true strength of a person is manifested in the diversity of his abilities. We promote a positive shift in perceptions of people with disabilities by celebrating their achievements and challenging social norms. This shift, supported by facts, figures and inspiring stories, not only promotes inclusivity, but also leads to a transformation of society that values and empowers the extraordinary abilities inherent in every person, regardless of their limitations. The poster comes with the slogan “Disability?  – Change your focus to your strengths… By breaking boundaries, we form the future…”

Thanks are expressed to Regina Aleksandrovna Kovylina, a teacher of the Department of Simulation and Educational Technologies of NCJSC “SMU” for organizational support.

Congratulations to Anoosha Maqsood for winning the competition! We wish you further success and new achievements![/vc_column_text]
