An open class was held with students of group 3301 of the specialty “Pediatrics”, in the discipline “Propaedeutics of Children’s Diseases” on the topic: “Anatomical and physiological features of the urinary and urinary organs in children of different ages. Methods for studying the urinary system in children.”The purpose of the open lesson was: demonstration of teaching qualifications, assessment and improvement of teaching skills. Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Therapy Yesimbekova E.I. was present at the open training session. During the lesson assessed the methodology the completeness of the analysisl, the students’ assimilation of knowledge, their preparedness, and interest. An open class was conducted using various interactive teaching methods: theoretical analysis of the main issues of the topic, “Brainstorming” using cases, team work; demonstration and development of practical skills at the patient’s bedside, and final testing. The practical class was conducted using a multimedia system, presentations, microtables, illustrations, a patient’s medical history, and an examination of the patient was also carried out. Students actively participated at all stages and demonstrated theoretical and practical training. The feedback from the students was that the class was educational, and during the supervision process they learned practical skills. After completing the lesson, useful tips and recommendations were given. Overall, the training session was interesting and all goals were achieved.[/vc_column_text]
