The one who does good to another does the most good to himself — not in the sense that he will be rewarded for it, but in the fact that the consciousness of the good done already gives great joy.

In this regard, on 12/26/2023, on New Year’s Eve, under the guidance of assistant of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology of the Semey Medical University Almagambetova A.A., 5th year students of the University held a charity event “Make good” to provide financial assistance. The purpose of this event is to help people in need, show responsibility and strive to make the world a better place.

Participants: 5th year students of GM, curatorial groups (5108 – curator Almagambetova A.A. assistant of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology, 5216 – curator Abdrakhmanova S.T. assistant, PhD doctor of the Department of Hospital Surgery, Anesthesiology and Intensive Care).

Aigerim (found herself in a difficult life situation; a disabled child, 5 years old, deprived of the opportunity for simple communication) was touched by the generosity and attention of the students, wishing them success in the future!

Helping those who need it affects the development of society as a whole: more students will be able to realize themselves and do something good.

Students became motivated to do positive things.

Good intentions are nothing if they are not translated into good deeds!
