Based on the feedback from students of the foreign department, the Department for Work with Foreign Students proposed holding a Winter School in clinical departments.

At the Department of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, the Winter School “Clinical Practicum” started for the 4 and 5th year students of the foreign school from 01/08-01/13/2024, the responsible head of the department is Kaskabayeva A.Sh., head teacher Muzdubaeva Zh.E. and assistant Petrova Yu.V. A syllabus and methodological handouts have been prepared – a medical case history, terminological dictionary. Holding the Winter School will improve the clinical and linguistic competencies of senior students of the foreign department. Students will be able to master the skills of clinical examination of patients, writing a medical history of a therapeutic patient, and improve their communication skills. The winter school is held on the basis of the cardiorheumatology and gastroenterology departments of the University Hospital NCJSC SMU and the nephrology department of the Kidney center Semey.
