On  8 January at nursing department started the winter school for 3rd year students of foreign department. The organizers of the event are the asisstants of the nursing department Zhuldyz Zhetmekova and Dinara Shagiyeva.

Aim of the ExDiaCare: Clinical Winter School Excellence in Diabetes care is to increase understanding of diabetic patients  symptoms, treatment and care, prevention, to develop collaboration and clinical thinking skills, to master essential practical skills for care of diabetic patients.

During the ExDiaCare: Clinical Winter School Excellence in Diabetes care students  will learn the theoretical basics and perform the practical skills such as using glucometer for determining the blood sugar level, practicing the administration of insulin, dealing with diabetic complications.[/vc_column_text]
