HIV infection is an interdisciplinary problem and concerns many specialties. According to the department development plan, an integrated winter school on HIV infection was held from January 8 to 12, 2024 for students of the curatorial groups of the schools of Medicine, Dentistry, and Public Health. The organizers of the winter school were Khismetova Z.A. – Head of the Department of Public Health; Rakhimzhanova F.S. – Head of the Department of Microbiology named after Professor M. M. Urazalin; Maukayeva S.B. – Associate professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Dermatovenerology and Immunology; Akhmetova A.K. – Associate Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Dermatovenerology and Immunology; Pak L.A. – Head of the Department of Clinical Oncology and Nuclear Medicine named after Professor D. R. Musinov; Suleimeneva D.M. – Head of the Department of Dental Disciplines and Maxillofacial Surgery. During the winter school, the issues of etiology, epidemiology, pathogenesis of infection, clinical manifestations of infectious, oncological diseases, manifestations of infection on the skin and mucous membranes, prevention of HIV infection were revealed. The content of the winter school is reflected in the syllabus.
